Have you ever wondered what makes you get distracted from the goals or the work that you do, even though it’s important? Yes, it’s your own potential to control your mindset which gets diverted towards distractions and then you lose focus in that particular work.
Self-discipline is an individual skill to learn and develop throughout your life and will help you tremendously during your academic period.
Here are few sayings which will inspire you to attain self-discipline:
“We don’t have to be smarter than the rest; we have to be more disciplined than the rest”. –Warren Buffett
“Your ability to discipline yourself to set clear goals, and then to work towards them every day, will do more to guarantee your success than any other single factor”. –Brian Tracy
In “THE CHIMP PARADOX”, Dr. Steve Peters said that, the humans are already the way they wish to be and the emotional mindset will distract the humans from achieving their goals. But the self disciplined person will have all the abilities to control and overcome the emotional mind by stepping ahead.
To master a self-disciplined life, you should:
- Set a clear goal.
- Know the different ways to achieve your goal.
- Create goal pictures and visualize your results.
