1.Time Management
The most important mantra to be followed is to manage the time while keeping the syllabus in mind. Without proper time management, it is difficult to clear the exam, one should prioritize the tasks, make a list of important topics and complete them.
2.Organize Your Schedule
It’s always better to be ahead of time to schedule and organize rather than trying to cram everything at the last minute. Familiarize yourself with a schedule of exams that you are attempting and calculate time and create a proper study plan.
3.Create A Study Plan
Planning is an art of making things possible. Pre-plan things , know what you are going to cover on a particular day and how the revision session takes place. One must also remember to take breaks in between which is essential.
Try to apply Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov’s experiment which helps you to create a perfect mood for your study. In his experiment, he made the dog salivate as soon as it heard the bell ring even without the food. Likewise, your brain makes the association and becomes trained accordingly if you study the same subject at the same time at the same place. 5.Adopt Shortcuts /Tricks
Work shrewd, not hard! The benefit of monitoring time and planning during the preparation isn’t enough. These are predominantly aptitude based exams and it’s thus necessary that you know the shortcut method for every possible question. Every minute counts during your exam, shortcuts/ tricks will be of immense help.
6.Practice Previous Question Papers
Rehearse previous year question papers. Make sure to attempt them in the given time frame and compare your scores. This will give you enough confidence.
7.Fix Weekly Targets and Achieve Them
I suggest one should have small and achievable weekly targets where one can attempt to accomplish them and calculate the success rate every week. It’s not bad if you score 80 – 90% of your weekly target, but try to make it 90 plus.
