Koshys Institute of Health Sciences organized a webinar on 30.7.2022 in association with DNipCare aimed at sensitizing the delegates on palliative care, on the topic ”Palliative care :an update’’. Webinar started with a prayer song at 11:00 am. On behalf of KIHS Ms Nimi Elizabeth Mathew, Assistant Professor department of medical surgical nursing  welcomed the gathering.

Chief guest of the webinar was Mrs. Achala Assistant Director General  (Nursing),DGHS, MoHFW (Ministry of health & family welfare), Government of India, she addressed the delegates. Dr Sereena Shaji Dean og KGI also addressed the delegates. The panelist for the webinar were, Dr Bablesh Mahawar ,Interventional pain & palliative Care Physician, Prof(Dr)A T Kora Principal, NIINS, Sr. Hanife Mac Gamwell Palliative care Nurse Specialist and the moderator of the webinar was Mr K V Hamza ,General Secretary,DNipcare. The session was followed by question & answer session and a feedback session. Ms Sofiya Assistant lecturer delivered the vote of thanks and webinar came to an end at 1:00 pm.
